Honda Malaysia has officially opened order books for the highly anticipated 2025 Honda HR-V facelift, with the launch scheduled for Q3 2025.
Visually, the 2025 HR-V facelift brings a refreshed look with several subtle yet impactful exterior updates. These include redesigned front and rear bumpers, a wider front grille, and a more minimalist full-width tail light design. The top-spec RS e:HEV variant will also feature new two-tone wheels, replacing the previous monotone grey finish.
To complement the refreshed styling, Honda is introducing two new exterior colours: Phoenix Orange Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl, although these new colours have not yet been revealed in official press images.
While interior photos are still under wraps, expectations are based on the facelifted model that debuted in Thailand. The cabin is likely to see a newly redesigned centre console with a more practical layout that offers additional storage space. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also getting an upgrade to support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, aligning with modern connectivity needs.
Under the hood, there are no changes to the powertrain lineup. The 2025 HR-V will continue to be offered with three familiar engine options:
- A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) engine, producing 121 hp and 145 Nm
- A 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine, delivering 181 hp and 240 Nm
- A 1.5-litre e:HEV hybrid, providing 131 hp and 253 Nm of torque via its electric motor
In terms of safety, the HR-V facelift further enhances its Honda Sensing suite with new features, including Adaptive Driving Beam and Active Cornering Light, aimed at improving visibility and overall driving confidence.
With its refined looks, updated technology, and expanded safety features, the 2025 Honda HR-V is shaping up to be a strong contender in the competitive compact SUV market. Interested buyers can now place their bookings via Honda Malaysia’s online platforms ahead of its official debut later this year.
